A Diamond in the Rough: Chemicals, Community and Environmental Equity in Louisiana's Cancer Alley
 People in the tiny community of Diamond, LA lived next to an industrial maze and breathed in what came out of smokestacks. Eventually, these descendants of once rebellious slaves took a stand against Shell Oil in what amounted to a twenty year struggle for health, safety and self respect against seemingly insurmountable odds. Ultimately, they won with the help of friends near and far.
